F2 keybind becoming unfunctional, or exhibiting unexpected behaviour, in certain circumstances

After duplicating an object in the explorer (using CTRL+D) OR inserting an object underneath another object, and then pressing “F2” to rename the object you duplicated/inserted, you will be prompted to change the name of the original object rather than the object you just duplicated.

When clicking off the “change name” prompt, and then duplicating that duplicated item and pressing “F2”, it will simply not work.

Expected behavior

When duplicating an object and pressing “F2”, you should be able to rename the duplicated object - rather than the original object.

Your F2 should also not stop functioning.

To add to this, when changing the name of an object and auto-save occurs, F2 will also stop functioning.

Thanks for the report! We’ll follow up when we have an update for you.

Hello! This rename bug should be fixed now. We’ve also made a change to autosave recently so it’s now less likely to go off while you’re in the middle of renaming something
