FRENCH ARMY RULES
MAIN RULES

- You must show respect and tolerance towards all members of the French Army regardless of their beliefs, values, or opinions.

- You may not question nor disobey an officer’s decision or order unless it violates any of our rules.

- Follow the Chain of Command. Do not contact a Corps General or a higher ranking officer for minor issues. Instead, contact a Commandant, a Lieutenant Colonel, or a Colonel.

- You may only address Commandants and higher ranks as “Sir” or “Ma’am” based on their gender. Anyone below these ranks must be addressed by their rank title.

- You must be in proper uniform regulations while on French Army grounds. Uniform regulations are as following;
5.1. You must be in the proper uniform regulations before starting your duties.
5.2. You are required to wear the French Army uniform.
5.3. Body packages are strictly prohibited.
5.4. You may not wear non-military hats.
5.5. Your hairstyle must be deemed appropriate for military wear.
5.6. You may not use colorful avatar skin tones.

- Trolling, immaturity, and foul language is not permitted while on duty.

- Do not ask for ranks. If an officer deems you worthy of XP, he or she will hand them to you.

- We do not expect the use of perfect grammar, however, use it to the best of your ability.

- Recruiting and advertising for groups outside the French Army, is prohibited.

- You will not start fights, arguments, drama, nor rebellions. If there is an issue, contact the person privately and resolve the matter to avoid escalation.

- The use of abbreviations is prohibited in the French Army except for group names and rank titles. (Examples of forbidden abbreviations are; “STS,” “PTS” etc.)

- When a Corps General or higher rank enters your event they must be acknowledged in the following way;
12.1. Corps Generals and higher ranks must be announced as “(Rank) on deck”
12.2. When a “(Rank) on deck” is announced everyone must greet the officer on deck.
12.3. To greet the officer on the deck you must say “Hello, (Rank)”
- When a Corps General or higher rank enters your event they must be acknowledged in the following way;

- You will show respect and honor towards all allied groups and their members as you would to our members.

- If you see a user breaking the rules, you will attempt to correct their behavior before you record and report them to an officer.

- You will follow every single one of these rules without any exception. Failure to do so may result in being demoted or exiled.
ADMIN / OFFICER RULES

- Teleporting to a higher rank is strictly prohibited unless you have their permission.

- You will attempt to end and stop all fights, drama, and controversies instead of partaking in them.

- You will enforce our rules without any exception.

- Do not use admin commands in excess. Admin use should be a last resort.

- Promoting your friends or relatives is forbidden in our group. You may not offer any unfair advantages to any member.
RANK STRUCTURE
- Below are the ranks of the French Army. As you advance through our ranks you will be expected to show higher levels of maturity, activity, respect, and skill. Failure to show these characteristics may result in a demotion.

CHAIN OF COMMAND
- Do not contact any Brigadier or higher ranks regarding any issues or concerns. There are Majors, Lieutenant Colonels, and Colonels available at all times to assist you with any of your concerns.
- As an officer you may hand out orders to any lower-ranking officer and enlisted personnel, regardless of their regiment as long as it is within reason. Any abusive orders will result in your immediate removal from the Officer Ranks.
- If a member of the Officer Ranks gives you an abusive or inappropriate order, please screenshot or record it and contact an agent of the Special Investigation Branch.
- Please contact an agent of the Special Investigation Branch if you wish to report any officer for corruption, inactivity, inappropriate behavior, or admin abuse. Please provide the agent with as much proof as possible. False reporting an officer may result in a demotion.
PROMOTION SYSTEM
In the French Army, we hand out promotions based on an experience level system (XP System). Here are some of the many ways to earn XP:
- Guarding the gate at the French Army Academy
- Participating in training
- Participating in raids
- Participating in defenses
- Participating in patrols
- Demonstrating leadership
Below is the list of ranks you can earn through our XP system along with how much XP is needed to earn that rank:

RECRUIT → CAPTAIN
- You can earn all the ranks between Recruit and Captain, including Captain by gaining XP when you participate in the activities listed above.
COMMANDANT → GENERAL
- Once you become Commandant in the |FA| French Army, your future promotions will be based on your outstanding leadership qualities, your activity within the army, and your active display of professionalism.
