FACEKILLER Update log

19/01/2025 - The Forest Update
This update aims to make level 11 actually fair and possible, so players can see the rest of the game without stressing too much.
These are the changes made to level 11:
-Type 2 worryings can’t spawn from wave 5 onwards.
-Type 3 worryings can not spawn at all in the entire level.
-The amount of enemies on waves 9 and 10 was heavily toned down.
-The boss at the end of the waves has less health which makes it more manageable.

Every time you kill an enemy on level 11, special things may happen, with the chance getting higher as the waves go on to make it easier:
-A chance to get ammo for the weapons the player would have at that point (water and energy).
(9% → 50%)
-A small chance to get a power up (either speed, damage, or an invincibility charge).
(1% → 10%)
-A very small chance for the killed enemy to get on your team.
(0,5% → 5%)

And those would be all the changes. This isn’t meant to be a big update, just merely an update that fixes a problem to let more people advance in the game.

31/10/2025 - The Replay Loop Update Part 1: New Friends To Play With
This is a massive update aiming to make the game tons more replayable with new modifiers, levels, enemies and bosses. This is why it was split in parts. Here’s what the first part brings:
New Levels:
-Jarring Jungle, the second hardest map so far, with the first obviously still being Nightmarish Inferno.
-The Great Face War, another map featuring the gunner type enemies, but this time in huge groups. To win, every enemy must die.
-D4 Gr34t F4c3 W4r, a version of The Great Face War with demons as the enemies and the map is a retro styled jungle gym. Same objective.
-Energy World, a futuristic map where you can obtain the Laser Bouncer.
-Insect Nest, an underground dark nest where you can obtain the Insect Mist.
-Super Smash Face, an extra map in the truest sense of the word, being a sort of minigame where you must defeat super smash bros styled enemies in waves.
-Ball World, the adapted version of the map Ball World from the game God Of Noob’s Tower Defense.
-Titanium Turntables, the boss level of the S.M.I.L.E.
-Biological Brutalization, the boss level of Cystlord.
-Land Of Null, the boss level of Nullifier, the hardest of the bunch I would say.
-BOSS RUSH - THE 8 APPRENTICES (EASY)
-BOSS RUSH - THE 10 MASTERS (MEDIUM)
New Bosses:
-Big Ball, The Unserious Warlord, starring in Ball World
-S.M.I.L.E., starring in Titanium Turntables
-Nullifier, starring in Land Of Null
-Cystlord, starring in Biological Brutalization
New Weapons:
-Laser Bouncer: An alternative version of the laser gun, now firing electric balls that don’t have area damage but bounce around the place. Altfire (left click, L2 on PS4) lets you shoot relock balls, which come back to enemies if they weren’t hit on their first pass.
-Insect Mist: A green revolver that shoots clouds of green mist which damages enemies in an area and stays for a few seconds. Very effective against groups of bug types. More so than the Bug Spray, even.
New Mechanics:
-Global cooldowns, which means Laser Gun Flicking is no longer possible. Pay respect to this forbidden technique as it has to go now.
-Enemy weaknesses, now every enemy is weak to certain types of damage. You can tell when they’re weak to an attack because a certain sound will play and red stars will appear. Only exceptions are bosses, boss minions like Muty and Vampire Minion, Cyberfaces and Kevin Kazes.
-Loadout, you can change your weapon formation now.
-Tutorial added to levels 1 and 2. Replayabale for now, will keep unless it bothers anyone.
-Running speed boosted by 6%
Some modifiers were rebalanced, these being Chromashift, Chromashift+ and Rank Up.
And those would be all the changes. Not a gigantic update but I would say it’s a bit of content to eat up. Sadly, no new modifiers could be made in time.
