Can you check this issue out?
It would be really cool if we can link to SVG’s on Github. That way when automated actions triggered on repo pushes, and issue updates, update the images used on the forum. Were using the API to create some cool graphics to generate interest in Developing more services and users taking part in posting issues in Github on the services they use.
Currently the SVG is being wrapped in an <img> element, can you allow the svg to be hosted so that in the SVG linking to specific issues can remain?
