"Failed upload" constantly when attempting to upload textures

Hiya,

For the first time I’ve attempted to utilise external textures for my building projects (I frankly think the ones provided by roblox are pretty bad). However, whenever I attempted to upload my texture (I’ve tried both 1K and 2K which I have heard are the only accepted ones) it constantly says “Failed upload” and has that warning sign (https://gyazo.com/4b8dda35ca555f7ae0f7ef96c3b6d7d6). I’ve tried on multiple places and I exactly replicated the video that I was watching (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fx73fjLEKak). I’ve also searched up any solution on google but I couldn’t find any solution.

Thanks for helping!

You could try adding the texture in a different way. On the part you want to add texture to click the plus button on the part and add texture. Then from there open the texture on the properties tab and upload your texture there.

Also in the recent video’s comments alot of people are having the same issue.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Is there any other way, because the way you explained makes the part looks quite sketch, and it’s also on one side.

Also, it’s not as detailed as it should be.

have you tried changing the name of the image youre trying to upload? sometimes names that don’t seem inappropriate get flagged and error when trying to upload

still does not work. i believe this is a roblox bug

It could be. Another Idea of getting it to work would be to use blender and texture it there and upload it to Roblox.
