The word “Fuwatty” (for context, fuwatty/fuwatti is a name of a character from a game, and if i remember correctly, it means fluffy in japanese) gets filtered, on the marketplace it doesn’t show up items in the store, and while its not filtered in the chat, people still get banned for saying this word.

I’m going to guess that the system though you were trying to call someone fat. I will say, this needs fixed, this sort of stuff happens way too often. I have almost been banned before for something that was meant to be innocent.
Even though it’s not filtered, you can still get moderated for things you say, and that’s exactly the point of moderation and hashtags, so I don’t understand this argument. If chat filters can’t catch up and it’s still visible, then action should be taken. Also, in some cases, even if it’s not filtered, there are matters that can be interpreted as good or bad depending on the context. Not everything is just about hashtags, really.
Also, if I saw that word for the first time, I would think you’re calling someone “fatty,” so they can send an appeal and have it corrected. This is not a matter that should be submitted as a bug report.
fuwatty is literally a character from ao oni and not an offensive word what are you talking about. even if it did sound like “fatty” then why is the other variation of his name “fuwatti” still filtered in the marketplace?
Appeal… the appeals system’s entire purpose is to help you resolve these moderation infractions that you feel are unfair. This is not a bug–there’s an entire process dedicated to helping resolve these issues.
