FE Gun Kit Shooting Problem

Okay so I was in roblox studio creating my viewmodels, and for some reason the viewmodel works, but it is firing from the player’s hand and not from the muzzle where I intended it to be. Take a look for yourself.

If anybody knows this bug please help!

Did you make the kit? Or are you using someone else’s kit?

I’m using somebody else’s kit.

Do you know how to use lua? Or are you new to scripting?

I know a little not much. I started getting in to it a year ago. I know how to fiddle around with it or find the problem, that’s just it I had troubles with FE gun kit and solved them, but this problem I can’t seem to solve. I mostly create things like UI’s and models. (I use blender sometimes).

Ok well, good way to find and alter the position of bullet spawn (probably set within a server side script) is to use the shortcut “Ctrl + shift + F” A window should pop up, from there you will be able to search every script in your game at once.

Try to look for key words “position, spawn, brick, etc.” also coordinates, (0, 0, 0). Without seeing the script this is the best advice I can give. If you would like further help, please share the kit.

hes using FE gun kit, I don’t have any experience with it but I imported it, and inside of the gun’s Handle there’s an attachment called GunFirePoint1. That attachment is where the gun’s bullet goes from

Don’t tell him to look in the script if he barely knows how to script. he told you the engine he uses, you can do your own research into it.

I know where the GunFirePoint is and does. The problem is where its shooting from. its shooting from the tool, not the Viewmodel, like it should be. I know how to get into the settings and change certain things in the script.

I Think the kit is called Legacy Viewmodel (FE gun Kit)

EDIT: its the older version. The new kit is a bit harder than expected unless there’s something that I’m missing?
