Feed back on lowpoly

Hello, So I’m working on some stuff to add to my profolio

  • Feed back on how it looks so far!
  • What can I add or change to make it look better
  • Does it look good at all?

Thanks for reading sincerely: CourtCxse

It looks amazing. (I am guessing the building is décor or when you come inside it teleports you to a larger room). It looks perfect.

Keep up the amazing work!

Yes that was the main idea you guessed it perfectly and thank you!

Amazing! Really cool. But you could make the terrain feel less blocky since the form of the current terrain is pretty much just a altered square made like terrain.

Alright I will consider that, thanks for the help/feedback!.

This is a pretty good low-poly build and it fits in with everything else.

This looks great. But maybe add some grass or flowers to the place, a staircase or a path would look good too.

Hey Raxr_Dev

My Opinions c:

If this is for your portfolio, it would greatly advantage you to do a break down of the triangle count per scene or individual model so when someone commissions you they know what they’re buying and getting into.

The Scene Itself

It looks quite a bit modular and repetitive. You should give the orientations and size more diversity alongside adding more shapes (mushrooms, a path, Logs etc.) to break the uniformity of it all.

Otherwise I think it’s just average for your portfolio: there’s still a lot you can do with it!

Good luck! I hope you get hired by someone fair and kind!

Thanks for the feed back! I will take this into consideration!

So far your lowpoly build looks good.
Here are things you could possibly add:
• Stone path leading to your build.
• Benches
• Vegetation: Flowers, etc.
Those are a few thing’s that you could potentially add.
Overall I’d say your build is a little bland, but there is always room for improvement.
Keep up the great work.

I like the terrain shape but you should deform terrain to make diffrence and add some grass. For the trees you should add some variation to trees and its called Cartoon styled / Cartoonish not “low-poly”

This lowpoly looks pretty great. It would be nice if you could add some flowers around it so that it could look much more colorful and prettier. You did a great job tho

The building itself holds up well, however, to me, it just feels to tall. It goes on for too long after the shades, and the roof just looks out of place. I think lowering the roof and having it sit lower towards the shade would help the build.

Following up on the repetitiveness issue that a few people have mentioned, I think it could be healed by

  1. Making different shapes for the terrain, and making bigger shapes in general
  2. Making different kinds of trees (they can be the same type of tree (ie, pine), just put them at varying sizes, amounts of leaf tiers, and bends) and evenly dispersing them
  3. Making different kinds of flowers/rocks.

Do that and it will look amazing! Good luck.

Thank you very much for the feed back!

Looks really good! I like the way the land up to the “Store” is formed!
