Feed back on Realistic Unique Mountain Obby

Hello!

I’ve been working on a realistic mountain climbing obby! I want my obby to look amazing while running smoothly, as well as an obby with unique gameplay compared to other obbies.

Can you try it out and give some feedback? Here, I’ll give you a list of ideas what to look for:

  1. The framerate of the game at different graphics levels
  2. If the obby is confusing to navigate through
  3. If it’s too hard to see when it’s night time
  4. How fun the gameplay is
  5. Suggestions on what mechanics I should add

Thanks!

  1. I had no issues with framerate.
  2. The obby wasn’t too confusing to navigate through, but there were times that I felt like the amount of signs were a little too much, making it feel sort of unnatural.
  3. The lighting during the night was fine, I think it added to the atmosphere.
  4. I liked the dynamic elements like the falling rocks, ice, and geysers.
  5. I think more unique elements other than jumping would give it more character. Maybe something like falling rocks the player has to dodge. I also noticed some things like ladders and bridges seemed to be a little mismatched, especially near the geyser section. I think cleaning those types of things up would be the cherry on top.

Whoops, nope it was a bug. Just fixed it

Okay. Thank you for the feedback. I’m also testing the frame rate with a variety of devices, and the frame rate seems to drop below 60 on integrated graphics on graphics level 4 and higher, and drops below 30 on graphics level 9 and higher.

Thank you for reminding me about the falling rock! I had that idea, but I somehow forgot about it lol. I was also thinking about adding a flashlight that you can use! I will think about removing some signs when I get the time to.
