[FEEDBACK] Advice on my first low-poly build

Hey everyone! I decided to make a low-poly house. This is my first low-poly build. It will be used for a simulator.

I love the build so much, it looks cartoony! The windows are so reflective which makes it looks twice as much better. Keep up the great work!

This is really nice dude. Maybe you can try making the sheen on the glass different sizes instead of a repeating pattern to see how it looks.

Aesthetics

This is wonderful for your very first low poly build, but there are a few things that you could change. The first on is the shine on the windows, as @ScarlettHope mentioned, you could make them sightly different sizes, and the second thing(s) that you could change are the bricks, I don’t think that you should make them too small because then they would be too thin and in my opinion that would slightly ruin the look.

Will do, thank you for the feedback.

The shining for the windows stands out too much, and it may look better if there were two parts making it shine instead of three. Other than that, it looks pretty nice!

Very nice, gives the Power Simulator Build kind off vibes, really like the Roof, and the bricks that have been added for extra Detail. Overall Good Job  Hope to see more from you. :grinning:

What is the building going to be?

Hello there @HYP3DN4BULA.

Since this is your first low-poly build, it honestly looks amazing. Everything is really well done but in my opinion, there is some room for improvement concerning the windows as many people stated above.

But most importantly, the door makes the whole aspect of the building a bit weird, and makes it doesn’t fit too much.
The Neon material makes it look kind of futuristic, or maybe fantasy themed. Which you’re probably not going for.

So, in order for it to match the whole building i would suggest you to add a wooden door for example. Or just a glass door that is gonna fit the windows for example.

The choice is yours. Really great work, it’s wonderful.

Well, I can’t believe this is your first low-poly build. The colors are amazing. The way you have done it is amazing.

My Advice if you use it to make a Simulator, Cafe, etc…

  • Try to learn making low poly on the blender and make it curved and stuff.

If you can make something this nice for the first time imagine trying to make an actual blender low poly.

I’m a low-poly dev too. I would hire you for sure in my future low-poly projects.

Good Luck for your future

Alright, here are some suggestions for your build:

  • Create a theme of colours used for your build, I suggest adding maybe 1-2 more colours instead of just grey. This will help make the building look much more interesting.

  • Add detail to the windows, allow them to appear out more. Adjust the sizing to be wider, add more parts to the inside to create a window template and glass frame.

  • Add a door frame that is detailed and similar to the window frames.

  • Adjust the lines on the window back using ‘0.1’.
