Feedback and Suggestions for my new RPG game

5 Months ago, I released Realm of Legends, my latest RPG MMO game. and during the last 5 Months, I improved MANY aspects of the game and improved many things so it can be considered a high-quality game at least. I also made sure the experience on all devices was as good as possible. I am open to any suggestions or feedback.

I need other fellow devs’ opinions on this matter and this is because the game has been struggling a LOT in terms of engagement (retention and session times). I have no clue why D1 retention is at 1.5% (Which is unbelievably low compared to other games in this genre). While the First Session time is 6-7mins.

Keep in mind that using Roblox Funnels, I was able to see that 35% of players didn’t complete the First Cutscene (which is < 1 minute long). Use this picture here to understand what I am saying:

I tried thinking of everything that could be a MAJOR reason for these stats, and I couldn’t figure it out. I got suggestions from testers, friends, and other devs and I made sure to do everything that can make a change. And somehow, after doing that (and releasing all of the changes 1 week ago). The stats went even lower, and I am currently going crazy. (And I still didn’t say anything about the 61% like ratio)

Any feedback is VERY appreciated!

I visited your game soon and I really liked it.
This is the question: How to attract players?
It is hard to get players’ attention nowadays.
Suggestion: Social Media. Maybe it sounds like a classic and basic solution for engagement but it works. I recommend to make shorts about your game. If you get popular, make normal videos about your game. Join trends, check popular videos and create an adaption.
Suggestion: Devforum. Yes, like this topic, make topics about your games and message with developers.
Suggestion: The game’s story should be fast paced and exciting. Hire more builders and modelers, work on lighting.
I should repeat again, that game is incredible. Nice work.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the feedback!

I started posting on tiktok & youtube shorts a while ago, but I don’t get that many views, I will continue because 1 video can pop off and be enough to make the game popular.
Well, I was hesitant to post on DevForums because I thought I would get overwhelmed by the opinions of all the devs but there is no other choice currently.:sweat_smile:
I think the map can be improved and expanded, especially the lighting but I am keeping that until I have enough funds for it.

Avoid spending too much money and robux. For social media, use popular tags and think about trending your videos. For example Squid Game based videos are getting mind blowing views. Once you start to get views for your videos, start to talk about your developing adventure.
I’m expecting high succession from you, keep it up!
