[FEEDBACK] Auditorium

I’m working on an auditorium for my group, but I’m stuck on the lighting, and I can’t figure out how I can make it look more unique, and have it pop more. Any tips on how I can improve this auditorium?

In addition, how can I make the lighting more natural if I were to “turn on the lights.” Right now, the auditorium is dark, as if there were people currently performing onstage, but I would also like for the auditorium to have light, for when people go to their seats. I’ve tried lighting in the past, but they all ended up looking very unnatural, so I resorted to natural light by adding a skylight to every build I make, however that wouldn’t work for this build. If I add point lights in every area that seems slightly dark, the entire build becomes unnaturally bright. If I add spotlights in certain areas, but leave some areas of darkness, there are these unnatural light and dark areas, and if I light up from the roof, if the room is tall enough, the light never hits the floor. Any tips on how to improve the lighting?

For a start, It looks great, However, There are some flaws I can see and a little bit of tips I could give. The Number One issue with me is the lack of Texturing, It doesn’t feel right how everything is SmoothPlastic I Presume. I feel if you began to add some texturing to the build it’d give it a lot more depth. The curtains work, However, You can see the white like outline on them which can begin to prove unpleasing to other players, I’d suggest trying to find a fix for that, or even try making model parts for them in blender! Lastly, I feel the Auditorium itself lacks in detail, If I were you, I’d give the base of the stage more of a shape, and make the seating more detailed. I hope this helps you!

Looks great so far, i feel like the building lacks overall color - texture! I do have a few suggestions that might be something you could take into consideration.

Consider changing up the lighting so it isn’t as plain. Some useful examples would be adding a SurfaceLight - PointLight while spotlights work i think it’ll help you used both. The neon makes it look odd. It’s too bright and I think adding wooden - fabric textures would make the building look more appealing.

“I’m not sure auditorium feature dark walls, flooring ect.“ It’s probably due to the lack of lighting, useful materials would look better within the auditorium building.

Maybe try switching things up create individual seats if there are some do you mind getting a closer screenshot of the interior. Also, try wall lighting to help improve the lighting it may be something you could take.

Everything is alright, but I think you can improve the lighting a little bit.
