[FEEDBACK] Blacksmith House (Update)

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll experiment around the use of a texture for the bricks, since I also want to keep the randomized pattern that they have in colors. I’ll see how it looks!

As for the other part though, I’m personally not worried about game optimization with this build. It’s just a showcase, it’s not made for anything else really. Lag is the least of my concerns.

Thank you a bunch for the feedback!

There is definitely a lot of detail here and it looks cozy if that’s the look which you were going for. If you ever do make an interior, I would honestly be pretty excited to see it.

Just curious, how many parts is the whole build?

Thank you!

I am definitely thinking of adding an inside, but I want to plan out the furniture and stuff prior to it. It’s definitely in my list though!

Also, the build is 5060 blocks in total (which was honestly lower than I expected)!

Incredible amazing work! I have some feedback.

feedback

  • Make a bigger house.
  • I have no more advice, for you. It’s too good.

I rate that a 9.9/10 because it’s amazing! Love it actually. I would pay 1500-1800 robux for that.

1 question, how long did you make this?

Thank you very much! I am thinking of keeping this one small and making another one in a very similar style but more spacious. I’ll see how that goes. Thanks for the rating!

I love this build - my only suggestion would be to change the cobblestone of the entrance stairs as cobblestone doesn’t really look good - i’d recommend even using a texture so it will fit with your model nicely.

Overall, this is an amazing build and I hope it goes to good use!

Duly noted! I always thought it was a little too dark. I’ll definitely change the material around and the color as well. Thanks!

I love how you added the lighting affects and the little details such as the hanging lantern also the fence is a nice touch! Keep it up !

Thanks brother! I didn’t alter the lighting much, but I think the skybox is definitely what gives it a nice touch!

This is really goood. not much to say to make it better expect use a lighter color for the few bricks in the walls, the black kinda throws the design off.

I agree. I wanted to make them different shades of whites and greys, but it’s definitely too dark. I’ll tone it down to a lighter gray. Thanks!

Please answer my question, Crashee.

Oh, I’m very sorry! Somehow I didn’t see it.

This actually took me about a week and a half. The house itself used to be an earlier model I made months ago, and then I decided to renovate it (which is where the first images come from). That took a week. The next update took me a day or two.

I was very flexible on my time, so I didn’t rush much.
