Hi guys, this is the current GUI for the city rp game I’m working on.

It is a comprehensive city rp with jobs, taxes, calling taxis, medical insurance, buying and spawning of vehicles, stock exchange, currency, shops.

A few kids have reported that they are not sure how to use the phone UI. I personally feel that their feedback is not really constructive, but I made a poll and majority of players would prefer an actual phone compared to the current watch-dogs phone-style UI. However, another poll revealed that majority of players also feel that the current UI is good and easy to use.

In creating a concept of the new phone UI, I also experienced several complications like being unable to fit so much comprehensive information in the small phone form-factor that could easily fit in the current UI.

Another issue would be animations since the phone outline is curved and make animations difficult.

So I’m kind of in a dilemma. Do you guys think that it is worth the time and effort to completely remake the current UI to a phone form-factor?

I liked the way you made them transparent, it is looking unique with that transparency. Well done, @ZacBytes.

Thanks, I took some inspiration from Watch Dogs but made it more user friendly :slight_smile:

Nice work! As it’s kind of a smartphone GUI, maybe add a border? Otherwise, the designs and everything else looks very cool.
I really liked Carbon Footprint thing! :sweat_smile:

Since this is a smartphone you wouldn’t have your money in the top left corner of the screen. What I’d do is make a widget called Bank have a bank icon and it gives the amount of money underneath and in its place have the in-game time.
