[FEEDBACK] Commissioned GFX

Hello,

I recently made a GFX (commission) for the game “Bullet Hell”. The reason for this forum is to simply ask for feedback and / or constructive criticism, as I would like to know what I could improve on.

Very good GFX! One thing that throws you off is the face of the player, he is happy yet its a bullet hell game. I suggest changing the face to something more “angrier.” Other than that, good job!

I agree but it was entirely based off the customers choice/assets that they provided.

This is amazing! I don’t know if this is me or not but the Bullet Hell seems to be kind of blurry. Other than that, it looks clean and slick!

The icon was provided by the client as mentioned so I’m not entirely responsible for the logo.

Nice job! One thing that seems a bit weird is the grass. It looks like an image cropped onto the ground, and doesn’t look very good as it’s a bit blurry. I would recommend using meshed grass in Blender, (if you used that, of course), so it looks better. Good job! :happy2:

That’s one of the Best GFX’s I have seen but,

I think you can edit the hat to be not collided with the hair and you could try to use bump maps. I think bump maps would be make this perfect. I really like what you did except the hair.

I had a reference image and a given asset and I didn’t want to adjust it too much or it would take away the overall theme of the character. I’ve never considered using a bump map but I’ll give it a try. :+1:
