This is quite literally just a discord clone but on roblox. Why would anyone use this especially over discord when you can just use discord which has its own platform, a working CDN which in fact is not heavily filtered and let alone being moderated to the slightest of things.

Why would anyone use this at all over any other mainstream platform? Seems pointless. Even selling premium too? Really?

I didnt make this game to make people replace social platforms like Discord, but to connect with friends, and make new friends inside the Roblox Platform, Discord is awesome, but this is optimized for the Roblox Platform. That’s the whole point. :), but thanks for you feedback!

You can already do this on groups like rodevs or hidden devs or any other roblox orientated community platforms again making this kind of pointless. Especially it requiring you to:

  1. Run roblox
  2. Have an account to play the game
  3. Be able to run the game like on a pc or a mobile device that is capable. Not saying that you can’t run this with a potato but you don’t know that.

That’s totally fair, and I get it. But those groups are mostly forum style or external, and Epic NetLine is about live, in game interaction, something that’s more natural for players who want to hang out without leaving Roblox. This is not a copy of discord, you can do a lot of things also, like get donated in your profile, get likes (reputation), publish status with music, text, image and much more. The game is pretty optimized and tested for any “potato” device with the worst conditions to play a experience. As for the requirements, they’re just the same as any Roblox experience. Either way, I respect your point of view. Let’s see where it goes!

Don’t people already do this by playing games they like, and meeting new friends there? What’s the point of this? I’m confused.

Hey! Thanks so much for your feedback, that’s a really fair point.

Yeah, people do make friends by playing games on Roblox. But the point of this game is to make that social part the actual focus, not just a side effect like in most games.

In the game, you can:

  • Make new friends
  • Call your friends directly inside Roblox
  • Chat with random people
  • Create and fully customize your own profile (it has tons of cool features)
  • Invite people to private voice spaces or join public voice chat servers
  • Even receive donations, people can buy donation items in your profile.

Before you could live chat with people cross server, but Roblox introduced the new TextChatService APIs and yep I needed to take it down :confused:

It also has smart filters, like by country, to help you connect with the right people more easily.
And maybe the coolest part? Statuses and Minigames, all inside Roblox.

Im working on more minigames!

This was not made to replace social media platforms like Discord, and of course it would NEVER. Its just a Roblox experience with focus on social interactions!

There are a lot of similar experiences, such as RoMeet, LifeTogetherRP and more!
