[FEEDBACK] Fictional Sci-Fi Space-Craft Airlock

I started work on a space craft airlock. I’ve only gotten the interior built at the moment. I didn’t use any references, so if anything looks wacky then that’s probably why.

I would suggest giving the airlock a more circular structure like the International Space Station. I suggest this because when designing something, you’re going to want to keep purpose in mind. e.g. repairs and external examination.

Amazing work, Its pretty neat. I like the detailing you’ve given to the airlock. For example the valve and neon lights on top. Its a very futuristic look and I’m pretty sure you were looking for that indeed. I like the door detailing too. Though you could work on improving the Number pad next to the door by having some neon lights on it probably. I’d reckon you also decrease the height of this:

In my opinion is look abit high. Otherwise its a pretty slick build. Keep it up and Goodluck in your future projects! :slightly_smiling_face:

I lowered the vent on the floor and made the buttons glow and I think it looks good!

This is just my own building philosophy, but I feel like the detail in your build should be used purposely first the pipes, they seem to just be hanging on the ceiling as decoration, why are there huge uncovered pipes in an advanced Sci-Fi build. What are the pipes carrying ?

Second thing I’d like to point out is the giant vent in the middle of the floor, it just looks out of place and honestly you could do away with it. You don’t need to add more detail if it’s unnecessary.

Third thing I’d like to point out are the neon lights, the rest of your build has a really dull color scheme, so maybe try using white instead of red.

It’s an airlock, so it’d remove and add oxygen when an astronaut enters or exits, so the vent is used for that. Now that I’m saying it, the vent does look out of place, so I’d probably change it’s design. The pipes are for carrying oxygen into the vent, and it’s uncovered for access for maintenance. The color scheme is supposed to be rather bland, but it could do with some extra colors. I’ll change the colors up a bit.
