(FEEDBACK) First GFX!

This is the first GFX I have ever made.

Could you give me feedback? :upside_down_face:

i really like it.

some thing to consider however are that perhaps you might want to make the text more readable to the backround and have a smoother way to put the robloxians in.

also, one way to get a higher def GFX is to make it really big and fit it in a small thumbnail.
that way you get very high detail.

I’m not a decent artist myself, but I think you should include;

  • Character/Avatar Pose
  • More defined background. (More designed or in so relatable to the Image use it’s self.)

I think this looks lovely for a first GFX!
For the avatar, I think you should take a look into trying out Blender;

Thank you.

I think the background WAS kind of weird, I look into changing that later!

Howdy,

Great job on your first GFX! If you would like to take your graphics to the next level I want to recommend two things to you. The first regarding color, and the second regarding character posing.

In terms of color, your GFX does clash a bit. The light orange versus the camouflaged light blue makes the background a bit distracting and detracts the focus from the character. I highly recommend using Adobe Color. Adobe color is a free online software that helps you find colors that complement each other so your graphics remain clean and focused.

Now, in regards to character posing, I can recommend a simple and great way to progress. Firstly, open up a new place in Roblox studio. Insert a Roblox model, add clothing, and accessories with the tool box, and then pose the model using Roblox’s tools! What sets fantastic artists such as Kidveggito and ContentDestroyed apart are their scenes that feel alive. And, to achieve this, they largely depend on the posing of their character. You can replicate this in Roblox studio by simply using the built in movement and rotation tools provided. Practice this skill on the model that you’ve already inserted. Even when not in motion, characters are rarely straight, as yours is in the GFX above. Even by slightly shifting an arm or a leg, you breath life into you GFXs. This is FOUNDATIONAL in learning how to create professional graphics. Once you are comfortable within Roblox studio, you can certainly move on to actual 3D software as others here have suggested. However, for now, I want to stress the importance of not over complicating the learning process. Draw inspiration from other artists on Devforum, ArtStation, and Deviantart, and become comfortable with basics such as posing and lighting just in Roblox studio.

I want to stress that learning how to make top-level graphics takes time and patience. Luckily, you have an entire community to support you through this. Consult Youtubers, friends, and other developers. Also, please feel free to reach out to me as I would love to give you more-indepth feedback and help you out!

Does the font/background for the text look better?

Next I will change the backround too.

Noooo! I can’t change the backround. My editor glitched. It is all grey. :frowning:

pull this image, should hold the same resolution…

You should downscale the text or create a larger box. If you ask me it looks quite odd!

I would say it’s pretty decent for your first GFX.

  • I would include a pose for the character

  • Fix the text boxes to make it more even

  • Make a more cleaner, and smaller watermark.

  • Edit the background.

:+1:

So, I can’t change the backround, for this GFX I can’t edit it. The buttons are all grey and I can’t click anything.

Thank you!

I will look up tutorials.

I can’t edit this anymore though, because my app glitched and all the buttons are grey.
