I think it sounds good. If I had any advice, I’d say that your notes MIGHT sound better if they have a small gap between them. (it depends on your ADSR.) Giving notes a little bit of breathing room makes them sound a lot better. If you want it to sound more retro, you can just ignore what I said about note length. Some drums could also help, maybe retro drums, similar to the ones in the Super Mario Bros theme. That’s my two cents. (ADSR is Attack, Sustain, Decay, and Release.)

Its called bumping your post btw. I also think it is a bit too random for my preference which you can try to fix by having a couple of note progressions you use regularly. Just make sure not to make it too repetitive. This is just what i personally think would make it better though.
