Hey, I’m making a mining sim game, this is the lobby.
I’m half finished with the terrain. If I could get any feedback on the terrain, or some tips about lighting . Or even if you could send some tutorials on creating a lobby.
Looks okay, but I would prefer a lobby being outside the ground, where you have to mine down, or maybe a cave that you go into to mine. The lighting looks a little bland, maybe add color correction? I suggest to look for tutorials either here or on YouTube. I saw great tutorials there. Then adjust the settings until you feel it’s right!
looks good so far. however, i’d place torches around the area to add more dynamic to the lighting (also fits the mining style) instead of having just 1 bit of light coming in. otherwise, looks great!
You can also use Roblox’s AI to make custom materials, shown by this video. I have tried it and found good results. There are some that looked weird, but it’s overall pretty good & useful.
I was trying some AI textures, made my first build on blender and was messing around with point light. Just testing x) But yeah I’ll definitly change the terrain so it’s a bit less pointy.
