Hello everyone, I would like to share my first build. I used a low poly style with an old Japanese theme. I would like some feedback on how I can improve my builds in the future. Also, if you got something nice to say, please say it

For a first build, amazing work. But I do recommend adding some more bright colours. (Especially on the mountains in the background.)
It’s great for your first build but maybe you could change the water colour to a lighter blue. Other than that, it’s impressive.
It’s really impressing for a first build, I recommend fixing the lighting here and there, maybe add more seats, japanese lights on the pond etc. Can’t wait to see more of your future projects!

I think adding a subtle variety of colors to the mountains would be better, it would make the background look a little more natural. This way it doesn’t draw your attention away from the foreground of the build, unlike if you were to use brighter colors/colors with more contrast (the pink is already bright enough).

Have you tried playing with the lighting settings at all?
I took the suggestions of @Minideliciouspant3 and @Uttzy by upping the contrast on the build and the brightness of the water. This is what it looks like when I do these two things.
I’m still not sure of how it looks, and I may take the suggestion of @INT_L into account.

The water is really really weird, and does not fit with the low poly style you are going for. I think that you can improve it by a lot by just changing the water. But other then that I think this is a good first build C:
It’s a nice build I’m just not liking the dull colors and use of lighting it kind of gives the place a bland look.
My only issue regarding this is your first build is there’s not much going on. The land Is quite small doesn’t feature a lot of detail have you consider throwing like hanging foliage on the mountains like plants coming through cracks water objects lily pads rocks here and there? Try to create variety of trees or even add music - peaceful sounds would add a nice touch.
Otherwise it’s a decent for a first attempt. I would jus try placing a little plants, and rocks on the side of the islands you could throw trees on the mountains with leaves falling down to have that feel to it.
For a first build, you have done quite well. Something does seem off with the lighting however, I feel like to suit the theme, it needs to be brighter or whiter. Adding more colors will certainly make it look even better. Good luck!
