This locomotive is for a game I own. However, the game has been criticized for being too simple or ‘blocky’ (despite this platform being called Ro(blox) and the style of simplicity. I decided to bump up my detail levels a notch once more (not the first time I had to do this, since people are picky apparently) and added some stuff to my content that has never appeared in the game before. Some of those features are side panels and compartment doors, certain grabiron details, windshield wipers, and electric cables.
This model is already at 99 parts total. My game has a limit for how many parts can be in a train (consist) total, capped at 350 (formerly capped at 200 from 2017 to early 2020), so not too much detail is expected.
The real thing for comparison:
You may notice some details, like handrails and vent placement. may be different from the model I made. The handrails are simply because the ones I made were originally for a ‘Union Pacific Railroad’ variant which is more angled. The vent placement is because of the changes in the internal workings that took place several years ago, changing the stock 6000hp model to a 4400hp derated version.
