[ FEEDBACK ] Graphic Designing feedback!

Hello guys! So… I’m @Lil_SharkyBoy maybe you saw me already lol. Anyway, I’m a 3D Artist, Builder and now a Graphics Designer but I want some feedback, have on mind this is my first GFX I’ve tried on the platform!!

Anyway, without any other explanations here is the GFX I made:

Anyway feedback is really appreciated!

Looks amazing!

I don’t know the exact style you are going for, but if it’s realism, I have a few things to suggest. If those are meant to be rocks, I would recommend texturing them. You should also add a face to the character, give it that extra detail rather than leaving it seem somewhat lifeless!

Other than that, I think you did a great job! You nailed the lightning, reflections and character positioning. Keep it up!

Yes I’m going for something realistic, but the cubes wasn’t actually be rockes are more like… I don’t know how to describe it they’re just there lol.

Anyway, thanks for the tips but I don’t know if the faces will give some more life because you know the ROBLOX faces are kinda wacky haha.

Ohh okay, makes sense haha. Well if you are going for something realistic, I would still suggest you add texture to them. If they weren’t originally intended to be anything, that gives you the freedom to experiment!

That makes sense! But a little expression still wouldn’t hurt.

That’s very good for a beginner! The lighting is very good and I like the reflections on the “rocks” there. Great job, keep up the amazing work! :happy3:

Hello there!

I’ve seen your GFX and it looks nice! But as a professional graphic designer, I see some issues that you may want to fix it.

Lets start with the most noticable error here…

1. Subject’s Face
image

  • That looks very weird actually… I think it would give the GFX much better looking if you add a face on it.

2. Rock’s Reflection
image

  • As I said, it looks very weird when there are reflections on those rocks. You can try to add rough textures to those rocks. It will look much better.

3. Subject’s Shadow
image

  • Because the subject is near to light source, a strong shadow will look better from the soft one.

Take this image for example:

As you can see, there’s a shadow because the kid is near to the light.

Hope this helps!

You’ve done a very great job!

Lovely GFX! It’s very simple and the lighting is pretty good. You did amazing work especially for your first one :+1: Keep improving on it!

Just like what Jazuc said, add some texture if you are going for a more realistic look.

I’m also not sure but are the glasses transparent?

Or is it just the lighting?

Also from your previous answer

You mention they aren’t rocks. This makes sense since you got some sort of reflection going on here:
image
Correct me if I’m wrong but those look like clouds. The scene looks dark though.

So having clouds as a reflection suggest that the time is day, but your scene says otherwise… I would work on fixing that.

The last question I have, is this just pure render?

Still not bad for your first GFX :+1: Keep improving you got some skill :eyes:

Hi! For your first time, I think you did amazing - especially with the character’s pose!

Like @Jazuc mentioned, I don’t see the point of not having a face on your character. Adding a face would give the GFX a better feel to it, and you could personalize the face according to the surroundings in your GFX.

Another small thing I noticed is that near the bottom, the there’s a reflection of the character. It looks like it’s from the light source, but unless the ground is reflective, you should tar put the reflection. Like, if it was a rock, make the reflection into a shadow because rocks aren’t reflective.

Hope I have you an idea or two. Nice job.

It is not, is not only a render. It had to pass to post-processing on Photoshop with some Gaussian Blurs and some lighting effect.

Thanks for the opinion and the tips. Also, there’s no clouds I don’t know where did you got that lol.

I know how the word works lol, but thanks for the ideas. Althought as I already said the character doesn’t really need a face, y’all used to the Simulator look but I really liked other’s GFX Artist looks and decided to go with it.

The rocks obviously won’t have any reflection and Blender have something called “Roughness” where I can handle how many reflection the object has. Anyway, all of the tips are incredible and thank y’all for the amazing feedback really appreciated!

I hope y’all see me someday with a thumbnail made by me on some random game lol. I just need practice and some random tips on the internet lel.
