If you’d be so kind and tell me what you think of this obby. Our idea was to recreate Roblox’s basic movement and create a hard obstacle course “competition” around it.
Basically,
does it feel good?
Does it look good?
Is it maybe too hard? (To play, or to understand how to play)
What would you do differently? Any improvement ideas?
We have a small marketing budget for it, but we would definitely love to have your feedback on it first.
Also, it’d be lovely if you’d follow us on Twitter!
Well first the game is nice but the building could be improved a little, make it a bit easier and make a cooldown for the Triple-Jump system. Like I can just spam the spacebar when I reach the floor.
Hello @KKigni and a warm welcome to the Devforum community!
Your game is honestly quite nice and I’m loving what you’ve made however I do have a few criticisms:
The timer doesn’t seem to do anything? When it hit zero it did nothing to me.
On the first level, I passed the checkpoint simply by falling under the checkpoint area - I died and still got the checkpoint e.g. I didn’t complete it.
Movement is quite difficult to do, I found it relatively imprecise and as such it may be off putting.
Maybe make player movement seem faster or else the game will come across as droning.
Your UIs etc are really nice though and the general concept is good.
Hello there,
The game is really beautiful and the jump is really good to control as well.
the spawn area kinda to small to go around when you jump in the building. plus the view look great in this picture.
And also if you zoom in the picture there was a word at the right-top corner, there was a thing called Fps counter but it also helps other people like example when the player going on the lag issue it will show many fps in the game. it really helps full other users have a problem with the lag issue and also there was a timer at the top of your character… I was wondering, why we need timer anyway? is it because some of the users wanna challenge there friend for an obby race until the end of the course and they must count how long it will take you to go to the end of the course. the game also really good on a Triple-jump system as well.
A very nice game and I also looking forward to the game.
that all for now and I will see you in the next reply…
Seeya!
