[FeedBack] Low-Poly Crystal Land

Hello, after such a long time I decided to create my first Low Poly terrain [No-Blender] type but with a crystalline version. I need opinions and help in what I should add or change in some parts I would appreciate it.

In my opinion the trees look a bit too blocky for me, try rounding out the edges and maybe put some grass/bushes and rocks in it

Try making the trees smoother, some bevels would look nice on them, also make the leaves material Glass

The skybox looks low quality and kinda looks off so I’d change that to something else if possible

if I know and I’m going to try it, I’m new to building land of that kind and I’m not used to it thanks for the advice.

This isn’t a low-poly build, what you’re actually doing is building in voxel

A common misconception is simple building = low-poly but that’s not the case at all

Low-poly building means using 3d modeling software (like blender) and then uploading those objects you create onto studio so you can use those assets in your games

Tbh its really flat and boring on terms of decoration.

Maybe you should try giving it more of a terrain and some rocks on the upside down part because it just looks ike a floating flat land with nothing.

Also some rocks and water could help.

To me, it looks very good, but I would change one thing:

The trees look a little repetitive so what I would do is vary the height of the trees to make it look a little bit more natural.

Other than that, It’s very impressive! Keep up the good work!

This looks great so far, I would just work on the overall detail of the map. This can include lollipops, cookies, marshmallows, candy houses, etc.

Otherwise, there is a few minor mistakes that I noticed. The water should be located much more under the surface of the ground, it doesn’t naturally run along the surface, if it did it would be all over the place. Also, when the water is connected to the top to the falling water, it doesn’t naturally have that look and the flow part is partly wider than the top.

I like the way of style you are going with but, honestly, the trees just look soo simple too simple. Try putting more effort ono the trees. You should’ve probably done more before you asked for feedback because everything, (not just the trees) is bland. Maybe add a house or a town, and a village. I would make different kinds of trees so it looks more lively. Add better lighting and you would be good to go. I like the idea your going with very creative never seen an idea like this. :thinking:

Like some other people mentioned, the trees are a bit blocky. In addition, the waterfall could use some work as well. Maybe change the material, colour or transparency?

For the most part I think it looks nice, and I like the concept, though there’s some things that drag it down in terms of looks. If you fix those things, and maybe add some more objects as well like bushes, then I think it will look great. Remember to stay true to your idea, and make anything you add fit in with the environment.

Feel like you could add more minor details, like maybe some crystal flowers, have variations of trees, the crystal landmass beneath the island could have a main crystal core type thing.

despite what everyone says, you should make the trees look more like crystals, they dont organically grow in neat round formations, theyre jagged, some even cubic

other than that, you might not want to have it be that transparent overall
