[FEEDBACK] Low-poly obby

Hey developers! I made an obby in my free time and I need some help with the map style and some other things such as obstacle design and glitches.

  • I wanna make it a hard but fun game.
  • I do not know what else to add and if I should make it easier or not.
  • I have went through the game myself and have beaten it, meaning it is possible.

I have also raged so badly from testing it that I had to quit at some point and had one of my friends complete it to let me know some bugs. I had to make some stages easier but that’s basically all I did and I really need some opinions/help. Here is the game link and thank you for reading  Super Hard Obby - Roblox

Really hard obby imo. I couldn’t complete the whole obby because you can’t climb the truss in the caves and the obby is literally impossible to pass. In the water level you can jump through the kill walls (if you jump on them they won’t kill you unless you actually stand in them). Also in the cave you can skip the first jump by just jumping in the rock where your character is. You should add some music so that the game is not boring to play.

In conlcusion, its a very good obby but the cave level is way too stretched, and you should add some music.
(Note: english is my 2nd language, sorry if I made some grammar mistakes.)

Some of the obbies are stretched out too far such as the dessert.
The caves are stupidly difficult.
And for the love of god, please make it R6 because R15 sucks for obbies.

The obby looks fine, but at this particular part, it looks like the rocks are floating. Try adding some sand under it to make the scene look more natural. .

(Just a heads up: Near the cave part, the truss is unclimbable.)

I love reading rage comments

You could add music that you can turn on and off. And please make it R6 because R15 is just not good for obbies.
Other than that I think you did a good job.

ok thanks for the feedback  :ok_hand:

another thing to keep in mind is that the first level is way too confusing

“invisible kill bricks” sounds like a poor game design choice (no offense)

you should always try to make it fair to the player, even if its based on difficulty. if you make it stupidly difficult for the sake of being annoying, that’s more centered of a troll obby rather than a game thats supposed to be based on skill.

and like @StrangeShiner said, R15 is definitely not a good choice for obby games. Many hard-core obby games always choose R6, because the animations are lot less “animated” not to mention the hitboxes are lot easier to recognize.
