[FEEDBACK] My first city building

Hello! I am Luitenantcolonol, a builder from the U.S. I have been trying to build more detailed and thorough builds lately and I know this is not that detailed, however, it is my very first city like building and I would just like some feedback to see how I can improve it.

It is a great start although the roof isn’t the best it isn’t sized correctly at the front and detail is missing other then that it is a great start

It’s basic, for a starter it’s good. Just keep practicing and get better and better.

Looks good for your first city build. For some positive feedback I would say the roof looks a bit weird, Maybe make some brick roof with details. Good luck on your building career!

I actually really like this build. The details on the sides of the building really catch my eye! For a first city building, this is really good. I have a few critiques, however. I feel like the lights in the window are a little too bright. To fix this, you could lower the transparency of the neon brick or darken the color of it. Also, I feel like the roof needs a bit more attention to detail. Changing the color/texture of the roof might help with that issue.

For starting it’s not bad at all. But I suggest working on the roof a little bit more.

Great job you got the skills now time for advancement. Looks awesome… Pointer! The roof an windows can use work.

It looks like a really good start since this is your first city building. I don’t entirely know if your planning on adding to this to a city type of game you’re working on, if so I’ll add some buildings or houses. I’d recommend adding some buildings, trees, and maybe some background stuff like mountains, hills, or some denser city skyline this is just a future suggestion you could take if needed.

Regarding the building itself, it does look good for a city style game, however the shape is pretty normal I would recommend adding different types of shapes and maybe other materials instead of a whole grey color. There could be a more proper roof connected onto the building with different variety of colors or materials you should possibly add a door if you’re already planning on adding that maybe a balcony connected on each room since it has the same height as a normal hotel something like that could work.

It’s a good building, though.

Hi there!

The intention you’ve tried to make stands out. Here’s some feedback for the future though.

I don’t know if it was intentionally, so if it was, you may ignore this point- but the roof seems very offset from the actual building itself.

Kept basic and small, what I’d suggest is fixing off the lights in the windows, it feels like they’re sort of too bright.<

To a City game, I’d recommend adding some exterior details, specifically more buildings, but can also be trees, bushes, stones, streets. Everything that you can see in a city.

The small details are, what gives the building a good taste, try to extend the windows and add some small 3D bricks around the building if you’d like.

As @Editorze stated the building is nice but the lack of detail is something that makes it look standard and boring. Add a door, obviously and the shape of the roof doesn’t go well with the build. Add an overhanging flat roof to improve it a bit more

It’s a nice build for your first city building, could use some details other than that it’s alright. I’d say keep on practicing on building and over time you’ll get more better at it.
