Hey, my name is Adam!
I just started modeling in blender and I made a few of my first models. Are they good for a beginner?
Alright the last one is kinda messed up with the textures and also the fifth one. I’ll probably fixed those later, but can you guys tell me how all of them look? Thanks!
I’m not sure if this is intentional but there are either part marks or blender marks on this sword. I am noticing that the blade doesn’t feel like it’s one whole but rather a bunch of parts put together to make what it looks like a dagger. Of course, that is what it’s suppose to be. Though, the viewer isn’t suppose to know that. Does this make sense?
I think it looks nice for a first model! Can you perhaps take screenshots of different angles of the sword i can’t really get a good look at it, from the image the blade appears larger then the handle it could be good if you added a bit more height to the handle so it’ll match with the sword itself all swords don’t have a long blade appearance.
It’s probably because how you took the screenshot maybe add some designs in the blade.
The hammer weapon change up the handle most of the weapons kind of have very similar repetitive designs. The exterior (blade) of the sword has shadow problems as you can see one side if light grey the other is darker?
I’d say good job consider removing rating from the title since it’s against the forum rules.
Yeah! I’ve notced that and it’s because in blender at first I tried to make the model have a darker green edge for the blade, but then that didnt look good with the colour so I changed it to have the same colour on the whole part. The part where it isn’t straight near the right happened because I accidentaly went out of the front view mode and it went a little out of place when i was modeling. I thought it would be a hassle to fix it, so I just left it assuming no one would notice. It’s pretty noticable from close up, but from a far view you can’t really see it.
yea but the thing is if i want to make the handle longer i have to go into blender and do it there. on roblox studio scaling it will scale the whole model. ill fix that later.
