I have been getting alot of feedback saying my game lacks aesthetically, but i don’t really know where i could improve on.

Thank you!

Raise a bird

maybe add a table in the middle with some food.

Grass and flowers sticking out of the ground and maybe leaves under the trees.

maybe marker or crayon drawings near the bottom of the floor with crayons on the floor near it.

lighting is key, it feel weird without any sort of lighting element, try using atmosphere, colorcorrection, blur/depth of field and playing with lighting settings to make it feel more “living”

It definitely helped, thank you!

Use different surface types. Personally I think having regular studs on everything looks bland. Try using universal studs for stuff like carpets, maybe weld surfaces for roads. You get the idea! Also, studs on walls in my opinion don’t look that good. It just makes it more difficult to look at everything.

Those studs were also on graphic level 2, probably why they are so ugly

Here you can see the improved lighting, side by side
Top is improved, bottom is old.

Thank you for telling me about this, definitely improved the lighting

it’s not that they look ugly, it’s just that seeing studs on EVERY SURFACE is tiring to the eyes. You’re giving your eyes more information to process. And again, studs on walls just don’t look good at all.
If you’re trying to mimic oldschool roblox, then i’d recommend looking at old screenshots. Generally, studs were only visible on top of parts, not on their sides.
