It’s currently all the same color and texture, and has no door handle. The window also looks a little too large for the SCP genre. Consider changing those three things. 𐐪₍ᐢ. ̫ .⑅ᐢ₎𐑂↝
not trying to sound rude here, but it feels more like a modern security door rather than a futuristic door. I suggest adding lasers, maybe a fingerprint id system, etc.
It kinda has that basic home door feel to it consider throwing a few more objects to match the (Sci-fi theme) your going for.
Since it’s going to be a sliding door, there’s normally 2 doors that’ll slide and close at the same time by looking at yours, I kinda see the type of door you’re trying to accomplish I would recommend adding like a smooth metal border around the entire door leaving it just as the way you have looked a little plain looking.
Once doing this you want to add like pipes connecting on the frame in order to open the door to something like a security lock if I’m not mistaken, it’s called a finger security lock or a touchable one doing something like that could possibly improve it. Other than that, I like it try placing a curved top frame in order to add those small objects something in the image below, as well as having the frame more secured around the door.
To be honest, the door is a bit too blocky & “wide” if you will. I would make it slimmer and bevel out the edges by using a union or if you can, blender. Other than that, I like the style.
Click on the tool icon on the right, and select “Modifiers”. Look for the “Bevel” modifier, and you change change variables such as the width and segments of the bevel.
i would like to say that your SCP door look very realistic and also unique on the good way.
the texture of the door are look marvelous and also quite nice.
The door is very aesthetically pleasing. It has a good variety of textures and a good sense of depth. However, I doubt the SCP Foundation would ever put windows on their doors due to the amount of Memetic hazards that are in some sites. Not even mentioning SCP-4205, a cognito hazard that appears in non lead-glazed glass of which if you look at it, you die in 500 milliseconds.
The improvements look amazing love the texture and material as I feel like it matches with the overall design. I’d suggest choosing a different material for the frame I feel like it doesn’t match, they more have a metal one around the frame or a smoother material small details placed on the door could really make it more better however it still shows that home design I feel like removing the window could possibly improve it.
The door itself looks good, however you could take my suggestion however you like. This gives the entire place a feeling of the theme you’re trying to achieve the window frame wouldn’t match if this was added to a certain build.
I’d improve on that. Placing a security lock, or pipes and wires on certain areas on the door frame, which overall adds a bit of realism.
