Feedback needed for my Unlimited Flex Works recreation

I recently made my first cutscene attack. I still need to add more VFX and screen shakes and stuff.

I would love some feedback and suggestions.
By the way, ignore the map in the backround. This is my testing place where I test different skills. I pulled this map from the toolbox just because it was convenient. I don’t actually use it in the real game!

Also give feedback on what effects I could add

Don’t know why no one has replied but it looks amazing! In terms of vfx, camera and the frames?

There are things that can be polished to make it BETTER.

Most of the things looks off-sync, and the lack of sound effects to boost the intensity of the animation - you could take tsb for example, its more effects, smooth and the sound effects blends in with the animation or move.

  1. Add more sound effects - for example the domain expansion-like effect, you could make a sound effect for that.

  2. The frames looks really off, its not time goodly and isn’t smooth. Camera works is fine but at least use fade in effect for the frames so it doesnt randomly appear like the I-frames.

  3. I-frames usage can be improved. When it claps, show an i-frame use some tween animation or something and also add one more i-frame for the punching.
Your i-frame for the clap is very off sync, it looks delayed. So work on that.

  4. The intro seems unnecessary, it has less movement so it looks really weird. It doesn’t blends in with the high intensity effects and movement.

I think thats it, otherwise its really good! Keep it up!! Work on timing and the sound also the smoothness.

Hello, thanks for the reply. Specifically for the starting part of the animation being unnecessary, it actually is. It’s based off a YouTube animation where the character presses his foot forward toward his enemies and pushes them back and then the rest of the cutscene follows with it. I actually updated this animation a while ago after this topic was posted. Thanks for the suggestions and I will continue to improve the move for my audience!

I also didn’t use this audio in the real game. Mostly because I was afraid of getting in trouble for using the copyrighted backround music. But I’m thinking of adding it back, because it’s just backround effects and music and the voice lines aren’t copyrighted, I’m pretty sure. It’s also less then thirty seconds.

Sorry for the mega late reply. I didn’t notice this until today…
