i think you should make summoning with 2 types, the 1st is currently, and 2nd is you choose summon which gets automatically summoned, you can collect the soul types into permament one (golden alika, so theres permament summon party member) you can setup in his menu simple/more advanced behavior and he will attack, etc so you dont need to much manage, micromanage that all
