You might’ve seen me post before — last time I asked for feedback, and a lot of you mentioned adding a tutorial and improving the UI. So… I went ahead and completely redesigned the entire interface from the ground up and added a short, simple tutorial to help new players get started!
As for what’s next, my current roadmap includes fully reworking the models, adding quests, daily rewards, and eventually introducing some kind of “Battle Pass” system. Would love to hear what you think!
Bumping is when you reply to an old topic, and it boosts it up to the top of the page. Use this wisely though, as reviving ancient topics from the dead might not make some people happy.
Have the proximityprompt not get blocked out when something is inbetween the camera and the part since it gets kinda glitchy for me. There is a property for this I forgot the name but it should be pretty obvious
Please. Stop. Using. AI. Thumbnails. It does not give your game a good first impression at all, since games with AI thumbnails are usually associated with low effort games; and for good reason.
Played through the game a little and I can say: 1. The Gameplay Loop Is Boring
→ All you do in the game is run back and forth, and all the upgrades allow you to do is to run back and forth faster. This is not enjoyable for the user and not engaging in any way. 2. The Map Is Bad
→ It is really small, and in this game that kind of simplicity doesn’t help the case since it means it is even more repetitive to run back and forth, because you learn the map in your first 3 deliveries (even less I would say, it is THAT tiny) 3. The UI Is Bad
→ The icons on the upgrade UI do not have matching art styles, which makes it look out of place. When you hover over them, they increase in size, but since the frame that is increasing in size is directly the child of the UIListLayout that organizes the buttons, they don’t increase in size from the center but instead from the top left corner which is pretty lazy. And please, don’t use the same rebirth icon all other 1700^20 simulator games use, it makes the game look very lazily made.
→ In conclusion, I don’t think it is worth it to expand on this game, since its foundation is flawed and it is not fun to play one bit. Use this as a learning experience though, since if you were new before, you now know the basics around making a simulator, and can use this knowledge to make something great!
The game is great, but it’s a bit repetitive, which makes the game feel boring. Try adding some features to the shop, like boosting your luck or increasing your luck on this server, etc.
→ Try to put some background music because the atmosphere is terrifyingly quiet. Don’t make the music too loud Use lo-fi music and keep it quiet by using volume
→ remake the map so it’s looks much better
→ remake the ui so it’s feel much better too
This is my opinion. The game is fun, but these things are negative for me (I played for two hours straight)
Hello, id like to help you improve your game(if any pf my suggestions even help lol) but first i wanna say that this IS NOT a terrible game. It jist definitely needs polishing and a better gameplay loop
The Map
I think your map needs slight improvement. Some better colors, its a bit too bland right now, also you need to improve your scale. What i mean is the shop guy is kinda giant compared to me. Just keep in mind that real life scale is not what always looks good in roblox games. Also, add some variety! Take some time and carefully add some new stuff to the map. Make it bigger, with different looking houses, maybe some fun ones, like delivering to a tree house.
UI
Your ui isnt the worst ever (like mine lol) but it can use some improvement. Try removing the gradient from being on EVERYTHING. It gives a kind of unpolished look and it would be better if you use just plain one color or use a 0.5 transparency image label with a texture or something like that.
Gameplay loop
Your game is called “Delivery Rush” so maybe add onto that. After making the map bigger and more diverse, make it so the player has a certain amount of time to complete a certain amount of deliveries. The faster, the more cash. You can also add daily quests, like “delivery to 2 tree houses” or smth like that. Another thing is, look at pet sim, not only do you do the same thing over and over but its enjoyable thats why you should add…
Polish
Maybe a backpack that can be upgraded but only holds a certain amount of packages? Maybe an index that shows the rarity of the different packages, like is gold or obsidian rarer? I dont know, this is why an index would be nice. Maybe also make certain packages rarer to get, but theres some way to get better chances. One more thing, make it so you het packages via a proximity prompt, and maybe make the shop guy a little home inside a post office.
I hope my ideas help, you obviously dont HAVE to add all this, its just suggestions after all. But, goodluck with your game going forward and let me know when you update it, id be glad to play it again
