I made a river for fun and messed around with the lighting a bit to create a sunrise scene, tell me what you think!

Looks nice! I like it, the hill reminds me of the Windows XP home-screen! 
I think maybe a few trees would look nice too!

Completely agree with what sloss mentioned for both comments haha. In addition to his suggestion, it might be a nice touch to add some slight deformities to the sides of the river to give certain sections a more eroded look or something of that sort.

Add a few trees, skybox, a nice watefall, a few flowers and such maybe even a bridge… You can do alot of stuff with this scene it can be fun.
I totally agree but when I make trees in blender they turn out low-poly which doesn’t really fit the scene, thanks for the feedback though.
It’s beautiful! I’m impressed just thinking about the work that has gone into making this river look real; you’ve really outdone yourself on the detail in this river.
It looks decent, I would just work on the overall detail of the terrain. Here is my suggestions that you could possibly use later down the line.
The terrain in your place altogether looks pretty natural (you could possibly throw in some vegetation or something to make the terrain less empty), maybe some river plants or a bridge going over it something like that could work if it’s needed I feel like some algae could be placed on the rocks or floating plants that are usually found in many rivers and streams. If the river ends there, you should add a cliff that a waterfall come off of consider using the waterfall plugin. Might give a neat effect to it.
Great start, just like the others have said, adding in the background pieces to give it a vibe
