Hey everyone, welcome to my first post! After nearly five years away from Studio, I’ve recently started building again and am essentially starting from scratch. I’ve begun working on a structure inspired by the Presidential Palace in Grozny, Chechnya, from the 1990s. It’s meant to be more of a filler building, so it’s a bit light on detail. I’d really appreciate any feedback or tips!
Grozny is stereotypically a very grey city, so this point might be niche.
Fix the lighting, and it’ll look 100% better.
Another thing could be to change up the windows a bit, with different details on some of them.
Will definitely do that—thanks for the feedback!
It looks great! Ngl, I kinda like the lighting, too
Looks great, although the border around the entrance looks far too smooth and lacks cohesion with the rest of the build. I would recommend adding some insets/extrusions to it and possibly flatten it out so that it fits with the pillar/divider things you’ve added between the windows.
Also maybe consider re-texturing?
Aside from that it looks dope
Thanks man, I will definitely take your feedback into account
This palace-inspired build looks very good! It’s a great recreation! Nice job on this! How long did it take for you to build it? The lighting is good as well!
Thanks! Took me roughly 2 hours to build this
Great work! The only downside is the lighting, if that’s fixed, it would look perfect.
it’s good, as others have said the lighting is the main issue
