Feedback on a jacket

Hey everyone! It’s my first time really designing clothes on Roblox, so I designed it with some inspiration with others clothes and also my own references, then found a shading template online. I’m really just looking for feedback on what could be improved. My main issues right now are stitching, the neckline/collar, and just how to make it look more complete. Incorporating stuff like radios, pens, and belts is very difficult for me, so I’d love some advice there as well! I’d also like to better design the neckline so it looks more natural and maybe even have an undershirt, but I’m unsure how to do this.

My design:

Also, I’m aware the back radio cable should run on top of the text, was just a mistake I made in my layers!

Those gray strips look lazy. A way that I would improve it, is by changing its material. It matches too perfectly with the yellow material. I imagine it a more shiny, reflective one.

I love the suit however I things would change is

  • The walky-talky should be in the front not on the back

  • Symbol should be flipped when it on the other arm

other than that it’s great!

I have to agree with @MyHeadisMelting with his points. There also appears to be 2 dots on the left hand so just a reminder to remove that before you start exporting. Overall you did pretty great and quite eye-catching amongst the rest that I’ve seen.

It’s great, but I feel like there is something missing. I don’t know what though.

I think it looks pretty good!

A couple things…

  • As you said, make sure to fix the issue with the layers and the radio cable.
  • Not too sure what texture you were going for, but here’s a few tips for future work.
  • And as @MyHeadisMelting has said, the symbol should be flipped on the other arm.
Soft Texture

Add a small amount of noise.

Shiny Texture

Add an inner glow:

  • Make the size big
  • Make it feathered
  • Turn down the opacity somewhat low
(This is for Pixlr E, not sure what you use, but it may be similar if you don’t use Pixlr.)

Other than that, I think it looks great!

A quick heads up by the way…
if I were you, I would probably put a watermark over it when you use just the template, just incase this post sees more attention. I wouldn’t want your work to get stolen! :upside_down_face:

I like it, Personally I Would Just Add A Little More Detail To Make Is More Realistic.
But Overall It Looks Juicy And Good For Roleplay!

Thanks! I’ll have to keep this in mind for future stuff that has a reflective element.
