Feedback on a mall entrance?

Started building the entry way to my latest build recently, is there anything design-wise I could improve? [adding a few decorations as I go]

The room is mirrored on the other side with inverted picture-plant decor.

The floor is out of place and very messy. Are you planning on improving that?

Yeah, the floor tiles have way too much contrast with the lighter base.
I’m going to make both flint and just keep the reflective tiles at 0.1 transparency, to keep the effect but have it way more subtle.
Thanks!

Didn’t notice the texture on the white part. Try making the blue tiles blend in and fit, the texture is very hard to see.

Haha! The lights were close together and I didn’t notice. The texture is very faint and I’ll fix that, and the blinding light wasn’t helping.

It’s not a brilliant fix, but it definitely helps to make the flooring less obstructive.

Try lowering the grey tiles a bit more down, with an increment of 0.01 or such.

The texture on the floor beneath it now clips through the tiles.

If it does that, it’s fine to let it stick out more then. I encounter this problem often as well.

I’ve moved it to a position where it’s only visible from a distance. The texture displays correctly now when players move closer.
A Z index property on textures would be helpful.

The tiles need alot of work in my opinion. Also, why are there plants on the walls?

The inside looks really nice, but are you planning to do some stuff with the outside of it? it looks quite bland. Nice job on the roof and walls though

The tiles are just a placeholder for mesh parts (beveled and textured) that I’m going to put in their place.
I needed to know if the increasing space design worked or not with the area.

There are plants on the walls as I saw them a while ago in a shop and decided it looked nice.

Yeah the outside is literally just a car park at the moment.
The whole place is unfinished and the car park needs markings.

It’s based off of the Glendale Galleria.
Thanks!

wow looks pretty cool what will you do with the mall?

Use it as a showcase / homestore.
Might also consider renting out shops to groups or something?

It seems good, the floor is a bit messy, I suggest that you can make it only one color. And for the outside of the mall, maybe you can add a parking lot. Inside the mall, you can add escalators. Hope this helps :)!
