Feedback on a map for a little platformer

Recently i’ve been working on the tutorial level for a platformer project i’ve had in mind for a while,
but i just can’t build something that actually looks decent and feels right, ever since i started building, i’ve had this mental block, i just can’t get something to look the way i want and it’s really annoying me.

if anyone is experienced in making good and natural looking maps, i’d heavily appreciate the help!

Honestly, that’s fire :fire:, the lightning, the assets, the sky, the style of the game, everything is perfect:bangbang:

It’s pretty good just not a fan of terrain. Other than that meshes are good looking and the obby looks fine!

Looking good so far, I’d suggest smoothing more some parts of the terrain to make it blend the textures better. Also, try adding more basic vegetation such as bushes, taller/curved trees, flowers.

As a platform game with a environment, a nice addition would be some form of signs to point the player to the right directions, that can be anything really, maybe some floating beam lights would look pretty good.

Finally, one pro tip: Duplicate the grass material variant and apply it to the “Leafy Grass”, change the color to match the same as the original grass and then paint a few spots with that leafy grass texture. That way, you will have a more optimized terrain as well as some variation between points with and without the grass blades!

Keep it up, it’s looking fire so far!
