Feedback on a neat cult church I'm working on

Really in dire need of some help and feedback with this one, I have tried my best to use lighting to my advantage to add a feeling of vast space but I need more tips and tricks to make it feel more ominous! Thanks! Feeling like I am trying too hard to get that spooky vibe.

Disabling cast shadow on some parts would make the lighting look a little better, and don’t make the light too bright if you’re trying to make a spooky vibe

There is a bit too much light for a spooky vibe. Also ambient sounds really help when creating a spooky vibe. And about the lightning again I think it would be better to make it be night outside and get the cold/blue light instead of the warm sunlight.

I agree that it has too much light for a spooky vibe, but the light seems focused on the middle row. I’m not sure if it is just me but it feel weird.

I suggest trying out different carpet textures for the carpet cause I’m too used to the default roblox textures. Otherwise model parts seem fine to me no need to change those.

Thanks for all the help! :grin:I’ll be sure to darken all the lights and try to make the candles flicker. If there’s any other suggestions let me know.

Music maybe?

Ah, I am not a builder but I would say that is some excellent stuff!
Maybe for lighting I would probably focus more on the rostrum and on the actual platform. Maybe even make it a little higher?

I never see inside a church but the it’s kind of dark, maybe add more light…

I came up with this fancy altar and I personally think it looks nice. I also removed some of the torches, Added footstep noise, ambience and the light trickle of rain in the background.

My only issue is how wonky the shadows look. This isn’t exactly your fault, as this is an issue with FiB itself, but as a workaround, I would suggest creating a second part with the same lighting, and offsetting it from the actual fixture. Then, disable the lighting in the actual fixture. That way, you’re not getting those weird artifact-y shadows.

I’d also suggest adding a little more detail to more background things like the ceiling, as from what it looks like, it’s just a few wooden slabs. (it’s really dark though, so i could be wrong)

The pews look great, the lighting is absolutely goregous. Well done indeed.
