I wouldn’t say this is realistic. First off, the island has too many sharp corners and clearly defined edges. Also, the assets don’t fit together well. The trees look like plastic, and they seem like they were placed as an afterthought.
If you did use something from the toolbox, give credit to the creator. It’s not that hard.

I think it looks good. I’d just recommend making the sand more uneven on the beach area because at the moment it just looks perfectly layered which isn’t too realistic.

yeah, uh, no. Realism is about making things look natural. Sticking some grass on the ground isn’t realistic. Think about the shapes of the landforms, the material colors, and the placement of features. If they reflected how a similar environment would form naturally, then it would be realistic. But they don’t.
I’d recommend smoothing out the sand because thousands of years of erosion usually makes edges of landforms quite full. Also, you should vary the vegetation. Add different kinds of trees, bushes, etc. around the island. Additionally, makes the colors more realistic.

Thanks for pointing out the totally obvious. It’s a good thing we have you around or we we all be lost. No one ever said any of the programs shown were finished. Just that they have way more realism with the creator being able to add very nice textures now. I think that sun isn’t totally round, you should say something 
The creator deleted their reply, which originally said “it’s realistic because it has grass.” or something along those lines. That’s why I said that. Please don’t take stuff out of context.

It’s not really realistic; it’s just sand and grass with free model trees pasted all over. Also, the lighting needs more fixing as well.
I fail to see the need on why you’re so defensive and insulted me for no reason, but anyways…
If you actually want to make it realistic;
- Replace the “water” with actual terrain water
- Most islands have the tree compacted, so maybe move them in together.
- Replace the default sand with either the terrain sand, or a custom material.
- Change the lighting and skybox, it doesn’t fit in with the realism theme.

That’s true. However, the way you use them is what people are talking about.
The reason people are pointing it out is because we’re giving feedback on your build. Think about how much of the build is actually your work, and then think about which parts are the ones you’d say are the most important or impressive. It’s hard to give feedback on something which isn’t entirely made by the person asking for feedback. A good way to avoid the issue is to either not use freemodels or simply list what is and is not your work. Transparency never hurts.
Also, insulting people who are giving honest feedback probably doesn’t help. If you’re confused about why somebody said something, ask them. Remember, they’re not attacking you.
