I wanted some feedback on the island that’s in my game, it’s simple and kind of realistic.
I’d love to hear your thoughts!

If those are your assets, I’d suggest removing the gloss from their relictions since it makes them seem very unnatural, as well as indenting some edges into the tree’s base, since the straight lines are very off-putting.
also I’d suggest making sure you haven’t got an asset selected, before taking showcase screenshots.
If you didn’t make these assets and simply took them from the tool box, this is an easy 0/10, since that would mean all you’ve done is take another person’s free to use work and not given proper credit when displaying it as your own work, and all you’d be giving for a rating would be some bland terrain.

or much more likely, don’t claim another user’s work as your own, its very disrespectful to the development community.
Its just one free model, its fine to at least use one free model

Theres way too many of the same tree. Its like you just used brushtool on the island. Try adding some size differences, more variants, and slightly less rotation.
There should be a different type of tree in the middle of the island. I am pretty sure islands dont just have palm trees everywhere.
Everything seems a bit too flat, but that may be the style your going for since you say its simple.
I recommend adding rock formations near the water, there cant just be sand.
(if the 1st and 2nd screen shots are older or newer versions, could we get a far away screenshot of the newer one? there seems to be grass missing in the first image and the terrain seems to be smoothplastic.

Nothing wrong with using the toolbox … that is what it is there for. Looks like you have a good start. what do you plan on doing with it? I’ve created an island myself and that water to land drives me a bit crazy.
I’m using it for like a survival game where your stranded on an island.
remember, claiming other’s assets as your own causes you to be thrown out of the void forever.
the trees are just all the same, they must be different, also lots of trees are overtilted
Problem is, they outright claimed the assets to be made by them/co-developers.
No one here is upset about the fact they used free models, that’s not an issue, its the fact that here:
they claim to have ownership of the assets, even going as far to lie about having created the asset, which is simply not true and is classed as plagiarism, since the asset can be found here: Tree
Once again, I’m going to reiterate this for you, them using a free model is not the problem, the problem is the fact they have posted it under cool creations which is a forum for users to share their own work, and this user has then gone on to state they own the rights to the asset since they developed the asset.
Using free assets is fine.
Claiming they’re your own is not.
I’m shocked that she said 0/10, I checked her builds and they were rushed so she has no reason to say 0/10.

Still stand by my views of: taking someone’s work, claiming you made it is scummy.
I have every right to my views, and as I see it using another person’s work then claiming you made it yourself isn’t justifiable, and the difference between our posts is my views on how you’ve taken assets, failed to credit, then claimed them as your own, then given feedback such as how I mentioned the gloss and repetition.
However your post is simply saying my work is rushed, which isn’t a view, that’s downright an insult, you gave zero creative feedback nor specified a single post I could improve on.

You are so mad because he used one free model? I never said it was my work too, your just so mad about one free model.
You can’t use the child excuse because devforum is only for “13+”…

Not only did I make one like that it took me weeks!!! I’m sure glad Roblox has free models!
I also made a few trees but I better not get into that.
