Feedback on anti leaking system

This game was leaked on purpose just to see if it worked

There is no point of prooving that he/she is wrong because we won’t proove him/her that it is not working :smile:.

True! The only way to show him his script obviously won’t work would be to exploit, and thats against the rules. Might as well let not understand how place stealing works. Not worth the time to explain this.

ok i get it my system would not work but its better then doing nothing against leaking

Now THAT is true! Keeping a cheeky local script hidden in a part may be a good way to stop a script kiddy.

At this point it is nothing, only way this can work is when somebody that has access to the game in studio will leak it directly from studio.

Atleast I tried and learned some new code I DO NOT CARE if they fail or not

The person who took the game could simply just delete the script kicking the player.

That’s always great, well plus you now know that there is (probably) no way to avoid stealing your game.

They can delete all the scripts. Simple Command + Shift + F and searching for the source.

This can change tomorrow or today so just do not give up and try until you get something similiar to perfect

That’s the spirit! If your game has enough local scripts you can hide one or two of these little kicking scripts and force them to go through a bunch of code to find the one script which is causing the issue (Or make them delete all the local scripts and cause the game to not work) This would only work for noob script kiddies, but it may frustrate a script kiddy enough to just drop your game since it isn’t worth the time.

Probably great way to hide this would be require modulescript assetid that will determine if the game Id is different.

The exploiter could just use CTRL+SHIFT+F to find any scripts with the function Kick() in it and remove the anti-steal script.

If the kick script gets deleted
Second game script detects it and kicks
If the second got deleted
Third script detects and kicks

Exploiters do not have access to server scripts no matter what, they cannot delete server scripts unless you have a backdoor or the hacker has access to serversided executor.

Yeah, but it only takes a few minutes to find all the scripts.
