I just started taking Roblox studio kind of seriously just 5 months ago. I used to just make random things and get things of the toolbox and mess with them. Im starting a finding game and I’m currently working on a barn. Many finding games dont have lots of effort and detail and I’m making something different. I set about 3 hours working on this no stop and this is how far I have gotten! Tell me what you think and I will take any advice! Its not done yet but it will be in another 6 hours about.
It’s a good start, I would have all the planks facing the same way though (Not sure if that’s possible, I’m not a builder). Also be sure to fill the barn with lots of detail to make it more interesting, as right now the inside looks kind of boring. The outside looks pretty good though.
The outside is good, however, the inside is looking very bland. You should pick a different color for the inside and perhaps change the material from wood planks to just wood. Pick a color that matches the door. I suggest that you pick a red color, slightly darker than the one outside.
one thing that I think about in a barn is a second floor. It adds a cool elevation feature with the edges being elevated and also gives a purpose for the window and the height.
Edit: forget what i just said looks great! maybe add some models to make it less bland
Don’t be afraid of learning blender it really helps make some models really easy to build but you can also learn how to model in Roblox studio. Here is an example from Roblox studio,
If you are up to do blender this video has really helped me out in the basics and also is really easy to follow along with. Learn Low Poly Modeling in Blender 2.9 / 2.8 - YouTube. (you will also need to learn how to export and save meshes which can easily be searched up)
I wish I could use blender. The problem is that I can’t download blender since I’m on Mac and my I need my Mac to be at a certain update. So I’m trying to build some barn tools right in studio but it’s not coming along well.
Well, you can still make models in Roblox studio. From personal experience, I found it easier to learn how to use Roblox studio but some plugins can also help you out (just know there are a lot of fake plugins)
