I’m building a shopping mall. And I’ve gotten to this stage where I’m looking back, and I’m not crazy about the yellow/beige color on the walls. Any idea to get a better look? Or do you think I should keep it as is?

Looking good so far! As for the color palette. If you’d like something more “modern”, you could definitely try and use neutral colors such as white, dark gray, and such, and keep using wood textures just like the ones on the images you provided. Also, this entirely depends on the structure you have for the mall, but changing the walls and placing windows instead could elevate the layout, since most malls irl are open-spaced rather than closed and tight, while also filling up the wall space and needing fewer colors for them (see below for references).
Finally, as a closing tip, I’d recommend checking out some clothing homestores on Roblox, so you can get inspired by their layouts, textures, and takes on shopping malls, and of course, referencing actual shopping malls irl for a bit more accuracy. Good luck with your build!

Looking back to this, how do I achieve that glossy like texture of the marble floors in those pictures. I can’t seem achieve it in roblox

I’m not a builder myself, but I was able to find these two tutorials that could be of help:
(Personally, I like the final result of the glossy texture on Tutorial 1 better, but you can follow whichever one you think it’s the easiest or fits your style the most. Hopefully this helps you out!)
I’ve tried that, I toggled the same settings and literally nothing changes.

Hm, I tried it myself in Studio and it came out like this:
At first, I changed the technology setting to Future and no changes happened as well, but by sliding the part’s reflectance up to 0.1, the graphics are different now.
Just add fake SSR using that glass glitch. If you need more details I’ll let you know.
Yea that looks nothing like in the video the other person posted. That’s basically what I got. Like the one in the video looks like a realistic gloss/reflectance.

I managed to get a closer approach to the spheres in the video by tweaking the materials (glass and metal respectively).
Yea I know, but he was using SmoothPlastic. So I don’t understand how he got what he got. Cause if you change the color to white for example, and then look at “Metal” it will look whack

I don’t think he was using Smooth Plastic at all, he listed the materials from left to right and even clarified that he was using an alternative model similar to Smooth Plastic that was able to reflect better (and apparently linked it in the description). Maybe downloading said model could help?
Ah didn’t see that text blurb about the materials, guess that must be it.

As I’ve looked at the image, the entire area looks promising.
Things to fix in that image I would suggest are neon colors like the text on the left side of the image of some brand is gonna be slightly unreadable. And I’m not sure if this is bugged or intentional feature, but you can set up the “BEST BUY”'s Decal Color3 value above 255,255,255 to make it neon.
And another thing about it is that the center is completely empty and feels left out from attention. You could add in some random entertainments such as those small phone sales in center where random devices are sold or either some random child entertainment things.
The things further on are difficult to understand if there is something wrong that could be improved or fixed.

There’s not many issues as mentioned before, though the only thing bugging me is still the lacking in detail center. And I believe the building on the right side feels in lack of lighting sources and seems a bit small than the other places in this shopping mall.

The right side seems to have a stronger light than the left side. Also the center is dark.
The light sources on the right building should be also changed that they won’t affect the thing too much.
That orange building on the left side feels lackless of brand’s logo design. The place for that brand logo and etc. should be improved somehow. I’d suggest checking out how to make simple models in blender that you can import to Roblox and by that I imply making just some cute designed brand logos and colored in Roblox.
