Feedback on Boss UI

Everything apart from the light wood texture and the font is made by me.

(PURPOSE OF UI: You have to pick 8 birds that will fight against the boss. Bottom panel is for every bird you have, top panel is the selected ones.

Well when I think of boss, I think of it as evil and scary. Maybe you could make some darker colors like black and red. Just a suggestion, really depends on the ā€œbossā€.

I agree. Though the UI itself is very well made, it seems to have a better fit in a simulator type of game. The color scheme should be changed as well as the font itself.

Well, make it darker. Also, add a picture before the BOSS FIGHT label. This picture will show a scary picture of the head of the monster.

The game is called Pet Bird Simulator

I like it except for what cxxfee said for the rest great job I love it!

What theme is the game? The GUI youā€™ve showed fits with a western-themed game.

One thing I should note is that having text with images on Roblox will make translations a much more difficult, and tedious process. The UI is looking great, but Iā€™d suggest to keep the frames and stick to using the in-studio GUI text feature.

I agree, the text is just a placeholder that can be used in my portfolio in the future.

Iā€™m thinking the gradient in the upper background could be increased so that there is a more distinct line between the background and wood panels.

Really good looking ui though!

This boss UI looks good, but the wood could be something different,

The wood could be a bird house for the boss fight and then you select your bird, this is a suggestion,

Other than looks good :+1: hope this help.

Iā€™m not really sure what style your game is going for. Nevertheless, Iā€™ll make a wild guess for what I think.

If you are going for realistic

I find the font a little too ā€˜cartoonā€™ for a boss, which is supposed to be big and scary. Some examples of a font you could use would be

You can also change the material into a more ā€˜adventureā€™ style. From what I see, the texture is more of a cartoon wood base. Colors you could use can include, black, dark brown or a color that intrigues and threatens(might be going off a tangent here lol)

What if you are going for cartoon

In that case, I will assume it is for a simulator game or a cartoon-styled bird game.

What you can do is to probably add some feathers at the side. Other than that, if you are going for a cartoon style, you are doing great!
