Feedback on Broken Chair and Table

Hello! I’m making a run down facility game, what do you think of this Broken Chair and Table I made for the game? Don’t just say something like “I like it!”, please give it honest feedback.

About the table, one leg is bent but it seems longer than the others originally. It should be shorter and the table should be bent too , here it seems flat because the bent leg is too long. I may be saying bs I don’t know but that’s what I feel like

Yeah, that leg goes a bit underground when actually set up.

Looks a little unnatural. By that I mean it looks like its defying gravity like the bent table legs, I suggest there should be at least a piece of the leg of chairs and tables missing for some tables and chairs. All of the broken down stuff shouldn’t all look the same.

I don’t understand what this means…

Sorry if I’m being a little vague, I’m suggesting it should look more realistic. Like remove a chair leg, maybe like the image below:

It would intensify the feeling of a run down facility.

I felt it might be too gravity defying if it was missing a leg.

It should fall and go to into the floor a bit, here’s what I mean;

(This was a rush build, it’s a reference for a leg so the quality would be bad if this was built in a minute so it wouldn’t be exactly like this)

I think those are decent starts but the chair doesn’t really look broken to me.

For example the arm on the left of the image; it looks as if it’s meant to be broken, so the arm is bent down as it comes away from the back of the seat, only to come back up again. Because of this, it doesn’t give me the impression that it’s broken. Those two tilted parts on the back of the chair do the same; if they were broken, which I assume they’re meant to be, they wouldn’t still be connected to the opposite side of the chair.

On top of that, I think they both need more detail in general. It’s a run down facility game, so to me that sounds like it’s intended to be spooky - you need to create an immersive atmosphere to engage players in such a game so builds should be high in detail.

The chip in the side of the table is a good example; small details like that can increase the overall quality of the models, so I’d add more little things like that to convey the run down part of your game. I’d also suggest using a combination of 2-3 different colours (just different shades of the colour you’ve got; I can’t imagine a colour like neon green on a wooden chair) as well as a different material/texture if they match with what you’ve currently got.

I can agree to that, it looks a little broken but if you really want it to look good in detail, I would suggest making the other chair parts a little broken too. It looks good for an start though. Also, I have an question. Is this your first time doing a broken chair and table? If so, its great for an start.

I’d rate the chair an 3.5/10.

Sorry for the harsh feedback, but it is for you to be better at broken chairs.
