I’ve asked for continous feedback and criticism on my builds to make sure they’re up to standard, I just want to say thanks to those who’ve given me feedback on my build.
So this build is possibly for a sandbox tycoon game, as I looked around the map, I found everything to be okay, but that’s where feedback comes into play. I’m more then willing to gather feedback and brainstorm more ideas for this build, and if possible, use it for my future portfolio!
I’ve already noticed the dark spotting on the houses, and I’ve fixed that issue.
I’ve also noticed the really dark spotting on the houses with the floating islands, I’ve fixed that earlier. But I’ll mentioned that in the post, thanks for reminding me.

I like the build a lot. I have always been a big fan of low poly builds and I think you did this one very well.
Only thing I would change is with the floating rock platforms I would give them a bit different shapes as to not seem repetitive. Other then that absolutely amazing.
It has quality, but I would change the variety and structure of houses (at least 3 kinds of houses are fine), since these look the same and changing the color is not enough, and I don’t really feel the shape of the skylands, but these look fine
It looks like you’re using ShadowMap for your lighting technology.
Definitely reduce your ShadowSoftness to avoid the massive grey and black areas on the roofs of your houses and such, which I assume is caused by the islands.
Nice low poly build, I’d recommend putting some foliage or something on top of the rocks/sides. I also think it’d be cool to make the pond in the middle inset into the ground rather than on top of the grass. Really like the overall theme though, nice job!
Overall, this is a very good build, I definitely think the floating islands make the map look way better, but I would suggest adding a variety of floating islands and buildings, so that you don’t just have the similar looking models. To add, I feel like if you made the tree in the middle similar to your other trees where it is higher up in the branches would look way better, Goodluck!
I’d probably change the bridge and completely redo it. It looks much too thin with the support beams and it’s rather boring compared to the rest of the build. It could definitely add more to the composition if done with more effort.
Also, the houses’ roofs extend much too far out past the walls. A quick fix I suppose should do the trick. It doesn’t lend to the style in my opinion to exaggerate features like as it ends up looking stilted.
Good low poly build! But there are still things you can improve and change.
First of all, those grey mountains would look way better with some grass and maybe trees, aswell as some vegetation. You could also add in waterfalls and lakes coming from the mountains. The bridge construction is really thin, I think you can make it bigger. There should be a path around the houses and on the lowest section of the map.
Could you provide some information about those empty spots on the map, cause im not sure what they are for and it makes it harder to give feedback.

(If you’re referring to the 6 spots on the map with crystals on the side of the walls, as I mentioned on the post, it’s a sandbox tycoon, and that’s where the players bases will spawn in.)
