Feedback on Chiptune Music

I have been messing around with the ES1 synth in Logic and I just made this chiptune music. I would like to see your feedback.

This music is kind of spooky to me! It reminds me of Halloween music! I’d say you did good on this one! Good job!

Also, it is free to use in any game if you would like.

Oh! Thanks for letting me though! But even if it’s free to use, I’ll still credit you if I ever use it in one of my games! People need to hear this work!

Interesting panning, but the panning is kinda nauseating, sorta could even slightly in the balance though. Yikes. The chiptune sound quality matches though.

Yeah, I just panned each track left and right. Maybe I will redo the panning

It sounds like a old 8 bit super mario music for that ghost place

This is a good start! As someone mentioned before, the panning is sort of nauseating but that could just be me. The melody of the song (or whatever the term is, I forget) could also be improved on, as at the moment it sounds off.

Though I think in due time you could make some cool stuff with practice. Good luck!

I will change the panning since I did the panning in about 1 minute. What sounds off about the melody to you?

It’s hard to describe, mainly because I don’t know many music terms yet. But it doesn’t sound like the melody makes sense. It sounds like random beeps put together in hopes of making a melody. I hope that isn’t too harsh, but that’s how it sounds to me.

Maybe try humming a melody and trying to repeat what you just hummed in the software you use. I get my melodies from when I hum and walk to college.

I took some help from my sister who has been doing music for 9 years and she helped me come up with this song. Here are the notes if you need it:
