So recently I’ve started redoing an old game of mine, and now, as I think I’m nearly done, would like some feedback/opinions/suggestions from the devforum. I’ve linked the game below, also if theres any bugs, please tell me aswell
Hey there. Found a MAJOR developer oversight. We got the city map and there was a flood. However, there was no high ground possible to get on, therefore making it impossible to even survive.
Hello there. I checked out the game and i do have a couple of things i would love to point out.
First of all, i love the way the intro screen is made although it would be better if you play around with the color palette a little as it looks kind of too dark.
In addition to that, i think that the lobby is a little too empty, i guess that the game is still a work in progress so try adding paths, trees & decoration for a better overall look.
The maps also are gonna need a little bit of work, as they look way too basic and there isn’t really anything that makes the maps stand out nor make them enjoyable. In fact i think hideouts, rocks, caves and overall assets would make the maps stand out more for the player to enjoy.
Other than that, i love the song system aswell as the concept of the game. Carry On !
What makes this game different from the rest of those games? What does this have to offer that is different?
Gameplay: NOT GOOD
I’ll be honest here, the gameplay was not really good. The maps in my personal opinion just felt bland and empty. The disasters were either far too easy or didn’t work at all. Some were generally impossible to survive overall.
Let’s take a look at your ‘bomb rain.’ First off, there was no indication as to when and where the bombs would fall. There was also very minimal space to even survive as there were bombs ALL around you. A player would not be able to survive this.
Your Zombies didn’t work at all. They didn’t have any AI and didn’t show a threat at all.
The GUI bugged at times, causing the game to appear to be choosing a map and other game modes at all times.
The maps felt VERY empty and bland.
My Suggestions as to how this can be fixed and improved:
Detail needs to be present in the lobby.
Ensure that all disasters are fair but pose a challenge.
Ensure that all disasters can be survived on ALL maps.
What makes it different from other games? Make it unique!
I will apologize for this harsh comment, but in reality, this is the truth. You still have a lot of work to go through.
Yeah, well, its somewhat buggy, but I couldn’t figure anything because the screen was locked so I couldn’t move, jump or see around, I could enter the roblox menu and the buttons at the top, but not much.
On mobile it isn’t really working. Honestly, I don’t play on mobile, I play on pc but I decided to make a quick check on mobile to see how it goes, seeing that many people don’t usually manage to make it accesible to mobile. It was going smooth, though, I wouldn’t worry about that, but it might be worrying once you get to do more.
There is some people who play on mobile. I just don’t know how many… What makes you think there’s many people playing on mobile? I guess playing on tablet is more common than phones.
