Me and my team are looking for some feedback on our Tycoon game. As you can imagine from the title, it’s a Hotel Tycoon. There are 6 floors to unlock, along with some power-ups (guns, avatars).
There might be some bugs, but as far as we’re aware of, all of them should be fixed. Unless there are more.
Note: Game data will be erased tomorrow, Sunday September 4th. If you purchase any gamepasses, it will save, not any in-game purchases with game currency.
Hey Avtixe, I checked out your game! First off, great job with the build and completing the whole game; publishing a well polished game like this is always something to be proud of! I didn’t get to play through a ton of it, but I’ll highlight a few things I noticed.
The music and environment was vibrant and welcoming!
Having the lines that pointed to the open tycoons was great since I knew exactly how to get started. Everything worked as expected since it followed the standard format for tycoon gameplay.
When I hired employees for the front desk, it wasn’t quite obvious whether they were contributing to the income. I assume so since there was a conveyor belt like with the money droppers, but it might be nice to make this more clear
It could be cool to have more tycoons in the place and voice enabled to promote more of a social experience
It might be fun to have other ways to earn money like an obby. That would give me something to do while I wait.
The popup to buy the flying carpet was kind of annoying since it kept reappearing. There are already several buttons all around to buy things with Robux so I feel like I am being heavily marketed to while I play the game. Wanting to make Robux is totally understandable (I cant tell you put a lot of hard work into this!) but it may be nice to consider a less aggressive way to promote items. This might not matter all that much though since it seems common for tycoon games to do this; your call on what’s best here.
Overall, great work! All the best to you on this project
